Forty college
students will hit the road this week to show their support for a
high-speed rail proposal by taking a tour around the Wisconsin.
Students from the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group will be
stopping in Ashwaubenon at 10 a.m. today at the National Railroad
Museum, before hitting Appleton and Oshkosh. The group will then travel
to Milwaukee, Madison and La Crosse from Tuesday to Thursday.
At
each stop, students will show their support for the high-speed rail, a
proposal to connect major Midwestern cities with rail transportation.
