The Advance Public Transit campaign at UW Madison
hosted a "Come on Ride the Love Train" party at which they had a table where
students wrote valentine's to their state representatives and senators asking
them to support public transit. Student Brad Bruun dressed up like cupid and
passed out fliers to direct people to the party. A total of 150 valentines were
made, signed and delivered to the capital. A hundred-forty people came to the
event and the table in the Union and they
collected 65 postcards in support of advanced public transit.
