Students working on the WISPIRG Textbook campaign at UW Madison set up a table at Gordon Commons where people signed postcards to send to teachers, complaining about how pricey their books are. The event was run by Anna Drewry, Connor Cahill, Jared Forney, Liz Smith, Erik Krause, and Valerie Mukete.
On Wednesday, Connor Cahill, Eric Krause, and Ali Randall set up a table at Holt Commons where they got 25 additional people to sign the postcards. On Thursday the group had a Q/A Forum explaining the potential benefits of open source textbooks. Eric Krause put together a powerpoint which acted as the main visual attraction.
